He began his musical journey at age 11, studying under Giorgio Bicchieri and Paolo Conti. At just 12, he won his first international competition and was soon hailed as an “enfant prodige” of the accordion, often compared to the “Paganini of the Accordion” for his technical prowess. In 2000, he won the World Accordion Trophy Alcobaça in Portugal in the “varieté” category.

Gianluca Campi’s repertoire spans classical music from composers like Bach, Rossini, and Schubert to Argentine tangos by Astor Piazzolla, and original accordion compositions. His career has taken him to prestigious theaters worldwide, earning high praise from audiences and critics. Besides performing, Campi teaches advanced courses and mentors future accordionists at various music institutions.
