PIF ON FOLK is set to deliver a captivating evening of music and dance at the PIF Castelfidardo! This extraordinary concert features two exceptional folk groups, promising a celebration of traditional and modern folk sounds.

TRAD PLUS DUO brings together the dynamic talents of Mattia Console on violin and Andrea Capezzuoli on accordion and vocals. Their repertoire spans Italian and French folk traditions, including lively partner dances such as waltzes and polkas, as well as engaging circle dances like the chapelloise and circoli. Mattia Console, with a classical background, has embraced Italian and French folk music with passion, while Andrea Capezzuoli, with over 30 years of international experience, has performed across Europe and America. Together, their music is a high-energy fusion that will have audiences moving and dancing throughout the night.

Next up is BALARÙ, a folk group from Piemonte, whose name means “those who love to dance” in the Piemontese dialect. Founded in 2016, they have cultivated a unique style, combining the traditional music of the Piemonte region with the broader European balfolk repertoire. They perform dances from the Occitan valleys, the Roero, and beyond, reinterpreting historical pieces with their personal flair. In 2018, they released their debut album, Gravure, and have since played at major festivals across Europe, including Venezia Balla, Gran Bal Trad di Vialfrè, and Reno Folk Festival.

This night promises to be a vibrant celebration of traditional music and dance, with performances that showcase the best of both Italian and European folk traditions.
